The XINXIA Apple-Peel Pull-Tab Foam Liner is a customized packaging seal designed for cosmetic and food containers that require convenient opening and continued cap cushioning after the original seal is removed. Available in 0.7 mm and 1.0 mm thicknesses, this liner can be die-cut to match different bottle-mouth diameters and cap structures. Its distinctive pull-tab design allows consumers to lift and remove the central sealing section easily without using knives or other tools. After opening, an outer foam ring remains around the container mouth. This ring provides cushioning between the cap and container, helps compensate for minor dimensional variation, and supports secondary closure during subsequent use. The product is suitable for cosmetic pads, creams, powders, dry foods, nutritional products, confectionery, and other packaging formats. Materials, dimensions, sealing layers, printing, and pull-tab shapes can be customized according to the container material, filling process, and target market requirements.
Many conventional sealing liners are removed as a complete disc when the package is opened. Once the liner has been discarded, there may be no cushioning material between the cap and the container mouth.
This can cause several problems:
Packaging buyers therefore need a liner that combines initial sealing, easy opening, and continued cushioning after the central sealing section has been removed.
The XINXIA Apple-Peel Pull-Tab Liner solves these problems through a specially designed removable center and retained outer foam ring.
The pull tab gives consumers a convenient gripping point. When the center section is peeled away, the outer foam ring remains positioned around the bottle mouth or inside the closure system. This remaining ring acts as a cushioning gasket when the cap is replaced.
Compared with a traditional full-removal liner, this design offers several practical advantages:
The remaining foam ring is intended to support secondary cap closure and cushioning. It does not replace the original unopened package seal or restore the original tamper-evident condition after opening.

Final material construction, sealing performance, and food-contact requirements should be confirmed according to the customer’s container, contents, processing conditions, and applicable market regulations.
The apple-peel pull-tab liner is suitable for packaging products that are opened repeatedly, including:
For cosmetic pads and wipes, the easy-peel center helps create a convenient first-opening experience. After the center is removed, the remaining foam ring continues to cushion the cap during daily use.
Customized versions can also be developed for:
Because food formulas and packaging processes differ, customers should provide information about the contents, filling temperature, storage conditions, and required regulatory standard before material selection.
The liner can be considered for other packaging that requires a removable primary seal and a retained cushioning ring. Compatibility testing is recommended for products containing oil, alcohol, strong fragrance, high moisture, or chemically active ingredients.
Before opening, the liner’s central area covers the container opening and provides the required initial sealing function. The exact sealing method and contact layer are selected according to the cap design, bottle material, and packaging process.
The consumer grips the integrated pull tab and peels away the center section. The peel path is controlled so that the central sealing disc can be removed while the outer foam ring remains in position.
When the cap is replaced, the remaining foam ring is compressed between the cap and the container-mouth area. It provides cushioning, reduces direct contact between hard surfaces, and helps accommodate small dimensional variations.
The remaining ring supports repeated closure, but the protection level after opening depends on the cap design, compression ratio, container finish, product contents, and user operation.
Provide the bottle-mouth outer diameter, inner opening diameter, sealing surface width, and dimensional tolerance. A technical drawing or physical sample is recommended.
Choose 0.7 mm when the closure space is limited or a thinner cushioning layer is required. Choose 1.0 mm when greater compression and cushioning are needed. The correct thickness should be verified through cap torque and sealing tests.
Tell us whether the container is made from PP, PE, PET, glass, or another material. This information helps determine the appropriate sealing construction.
Please provide details about the packed product, including oil content, alcohol content, fragrance, moisture, acidity, and expected shelf life. These factors may affect material compatibility.
XINXIA recommends testing the liner with the actual container, cap, contents, filling process, and storage conditions. Sample testing helps verify peel strength, ring retention, cap compression, leakage resistance, and opening convenience before mass production.
XINXIA provides customized sealing and cushioning solutions for international packaging buyers, manufacturers, engineers, and purchasing teams. We support customized diameters, thickness selection, pull-tab design, material matching, and sample evaluation.
Our production capabilities cover sealing materials, foam liners, breathable membranes, venting components, and custom die-cut packaging parts. Customers can send a dimensional drawing, cap sample, bottle sample, or application requirements for technical review.

It is a specially designed container liner with a removable center section and an integrated pull tab. After the center is peeled away, an outer foam ring remains to cushion the cap and support secondary closure.
The standard options are 0.7 mm and 1.0 mm. The best thickness depends on the available cap space, required compression, bottle-mouth design, and expected cushioning performance.
Yes. The diameter, inner opening, outer ring width, pull-tab size, and die-cut shape can be customized according to the customer’s bottle and cap drawings.
It can be developed for cosmetic and food containers. However, the final material must be selected and tested according to the contents, container material, sealing process, and applicable regulations in the target market.
Please send the liner dimensions or a technical drawing, container and cap materials, required thickness, product contents, and intended sealing process. Supplying actual bottle and cap samples can improve the accuracy of sample development.
