The XINXIA custom silicone duckbill valve is a compact, flexible one-way valve designed to control the directional flow of liquids or gases while helping prevent backflow, leakage and contamination. Its integrated duckbill-shaped slit opens automatically when forward pressure reaches the required level and closes when the pressure decreases or reverses. No spring, metal component or external actuator is required.
Dimensions, valve geometry, silicone hardness, color, slit design and opening performance can be customized according to the customer’s product drawing and operating conditions. The valve is suitable for medical equipment, smart furniture, household appliances, dispensing systems, pumps and other compact fluid-control products.
For OEM customers, engineers and purchasing teams in XXX, XINXIA provides drawing evaluation, mold development, prototype sampling and batch production support. Samples can be tested in the customer’s actual assembly to verify sealing, opening pressure, flow rate and installation compatibility before mass production.
Medical equipment, smart furniture and automated fluid-control products often contain narrow air or liquid passages. Without an effective check valve, the system may experience backflow, uncontrolled dripping, pressure loss, contamination or inconsistent dispensing.
Conventional mechanical check valves may require springs, metal parts and additional assembly space. These structures can increase component count, assembly time and potential failure points. Rigid valves may also be difficult to install in miniature tubing, pump heads, plastic housings or compact equipment modules.
A poorly matched valve can create additional problems. If the silicone is too hard or the slit is too thick, the valve may require excessive pressure to open. If the material is too soft or the slit geometry is unsuitable, the valve may leak, open too early or fail to close quickly after dispensing.
Therefore, valve dimensions, material hardness, slit length and installation compression should be evaluated as a complete system rather than as separate parameters.
XINXIA manufactures silicone duckbill valves according to customer drawings, samples and application requirements. The one-piece elastomer structure simplifies installation and provides automatic, repeatable flow control without a spring.
When forward pressure is applied, the duckbill slit separates and allows the medium to pass. When the pressure stops or reverses, the elasticity of the silicone causes the slit to close. This helps prevent liquid or gas from flowing in the opposite direction.
The valve can be installed inside a cap, tube, pump, connector, plastic housing or equipment cavity. Dimensions can be adjusted to match the available installation space. Silicone hardness and duckbill geometry can also be optimized according to the required opening pressure, flow performance and sealing effect.
For new projects, we recommend prototype sampling and functional testing before confirming the final mold and mass-production specification.

Silicone duckbill valves can be used in medical-device fluid or air circuits where compact one-way flow control is required. Typical applications may include pumps, drainage components, dispensing systems, respiratory accessories, diagnostic equipment and liquid-delivery assemblies.
The final valve material, cleanliness level and performance must be selected and validated according to the customer’s device classification and regulatory requirements.
Smart beds, massage chairs, adjustable seating systems and other intelligent furniture may contain miniature pneumatic, liquid, fragrance or lubrication circuits. A custom duckbill valve can help control directional flow, retain pressure and prevent media from returning to the pump or reservoir.
Its compact structure makes it suitable for installation inside molded housings, tubing connectors and limited equipment spaces.
The valve can also be used in water dispensers, cleaning appliances, soap dispensers, coffee machines, humidifiers, aroma diffusers and other products that require controlled liquid or airflow.
When installed in a pump head or dispensing assembly, the silicone duckbill valve can help achieve one-way delivery and reduce dripping after operation. The opening pressure and slit design can be adjusted according to the viscosity of the liquid and the output requirements of the pump.
The valve can be embedded inside a plastic cap, connector or tube assembly. Its flexible flange can provide positioning and sealing when the installation cavity is properly designed.
The silicone duckbill valve operates through pressure difference and elastic recovery.
When forward pressure is lower than the designed opening pressure, the duckbill lips remain closed. This creates a sealing barrier that helps prevent leakage and reverse flow.
As forward pressure increases, the lips of the duckbill slit gradually separate. Air or liquid then passes through the opening. The amount of flow depends on the pressure, slit length, wall thickness, silicone hardness and medium properties.
When forward pressure decreases, the elasticity of the silicone returns the lips to their original closed position. If reverse pressure occurs, it pushes the two lips together more tightly, improving the backflow-prevention effect.
Because the valve does not use a metal spring, it offers a simple structure, quiet operation and compact installation.
Please provide the installation cavity drawing, tube dimensions or plastic housing drawing. Important information includes outer diameter, inner diameter, total height, flange thickness and available assembly space.
Tell us whether the valve will contact air, water, oil, detergent, disinfectant, medical liquid or another medium. Chemical compatibility should be confirmed before material selection.
Low-pressure systems generally require a more flexible design, while applications requiring stronger sealing may need a different silicone hardness, wall thickness or slit structure.
Please provide the expected flow rate and test pressure whenever possible. The opening size and duckbill structure can then be adjusted to balance flow capacity and reverse sealing.
Temperature range, pressure, liquid viscosity, sterilization method, service life and frequency of operation may affect valve performance.
Installation compression can change opening pressure and sealing performance. We recommend testing samples inside the final cap, pump, tube or equipment housing before approving mass production.
