The XINXIA 7-layer apple-peel pull-tab sealing liner is designed for reliable sealing and convenient opening of cosmetic, food, personal-care and other packaging containers. Its distinctive circular pull-tab, shaped like a continuous apple peel, allows consumers to remove the sealed section easily without using knives or other tools. The composite structure combines PET printing film, PET support layers, EPE foam, a functional coating, aluminum foil and a heat-seal layer. This construction provides sealing strength, cushioning, barrier performance and a smooth opening experience.
Unlike a conventional one-piece foil seal, the apple-peel design can leave a foam sealing ring around the container opening after the center section is removed. This remaining ring can continue to provide cushioning and secondary sealing when the cap is replaced. Diameter, tab shape, printing, color and heat-seal material can be customized according to the container, cap and filling requirements. It is a practical packaging solution for brands seeking tamper evidence, product protection and improved consumer convenience.
Cosmetic and food products require dependable packaging throughout filling, transportation, storage and retail display. However, standard sealing liners may create several problems:
For creams, cleansing pads, powders, nutritional products and other sensitive contents, poor sealing can result in moisture exposure, contamination, leakage or reduced shelf appeal. Packaging manufacturers therefore need a liner that combines secure sealing with convenient opening.
The XINXIA apple-peel pull-tab liner provides an integrated solution. Its aluminum foil and functional layers help improve barrier and sealing performance, while the EPE foam offers compression and cushioning. PET layers add strength and dimensional stability, helping the liner maintain its shape during cap assembly and induction sealing.
The apple-peel pull-tab is incorporated into the upper layer. Consumers lift the starting point and pull along the circular path to open the seal progressively. This controlled peeling method requires less effort than tearing a conventional full-surface foil.
After opening, the outer foam ring can remain around the container mouth, depending on the selected design. When the cap is closed again, this ring continues to provide compression between the cap and the container rim. The liner therefore offers both an original tamper-evident seal and improved resealing support.

Note: Layer values above follow the supplied structure drawing. Final thickness, material combination and sealing conditions should be confirmed according to the container and cap system.
The liner can be used with cosmetic cream jars, cleansing-pad containers, facial-mask packaging, body-care jars, hair-care products and other wide-mouth containers. The easy-open tab creates a cleaner and more premium first-opening experience.
Suitable applications include snack containers, powdered-food jars, seasoning packaging, candy containers and selected nutritional products. The aluminum foil layer helps protect the contents from external moisture, odor and contamination.
The liner can also be developed for wet wipes, cotton pads, cleaning tablets and other products requiring tamper evidence and convenient access. Material compatibility must be tested when the contents contain alcohol, oils, fragrances or active chemicals.
First, the liner is inserted into the container cap. During capping, the EPE foam layer compresses against the container rim and helps compensate for minor dimensional differences.
The sealed container then passes through a suitable induction-sealing system. Electromagnetic energy heats the aluminum foil layer, activating the heat-seal layer that contacts the bottle opening. After cooling, the liner forms a secure bond with the container.
When opening the package, the consumer locates the marked starting point and lifts the pull tab. The apple-peel structure guides the user around the circular opening path. The center seal is removed progressively, while the designed outer ring can remain on the rim to support secondary sealing after the cap is replaced.
Identify whether the container is made from PP, PE, PET or another plastic. The heat-seal layer must match the container material to achieve dependable bonding.
Provide the bottle-mouth outer diameter, inner diameter, sealing width and cap dimensions. Samples of the bottle and cap are recommended for accurate liner development.
Tell us whether the product contains water, oil, alcohol, fragrance, powder or active ingredients. This information helps determine the appropriate functional coating and barrier structure.
The tab length, opening direction, peel strength and remaining foam-ring width can be adjusted. A wider ring may provide better cushioning, while the opening section must remain large enough for convenient product access.
Induction-sealing power, conveyor speed, cooling time, cap torque and bottle-mouth flatness all affect the final result. Sample testing should be completed under actual filling-line conditions before a bulk order is approved.
XINXIA supplies customized sealing materials for packaging manufacturers, fillers and brand owners. We can develop the liner according to your bottle material, cap structure, container diameter, product contents and sealing equipment.
Customization options include:
Send us your bottle and cap drawings—or physical samples—together with your intended application. Our team can recommend a suitable structure and prepare samples for sealing evaluation.
Yes. Different container materials require different heat-seal formulations. Please confirm the bottle material before sampling so that we can select a compatible sealing layer.
Yes, the liner can be designed so that an outer foam ring remains around the container opening. It can continue to provide cushioning and secondary sealing when the cap is replaced.
Yes. Customized logos, colors, arrows, “OPEN" instructions and other patterns can be printed on the PET surface layer, subject to artwork and production requirements.
Please provide the required diameter, container material, cap type, product contents, order quantity, printing artwork and any special sealing requirements. Bottle and cap samples are strongly recommended.
Yes. Samples can be prepared for compatibility, peel-force and sealing tests. Final approval should be based on trials using your actual container, cap, contents and production-line settings.
