Application
This series of vent plug could equalize the pressure differentials of chemical containers which caused by temperature difference, altitude changes and releasing/consuming gases, in order to prevent container deformation and liquid leakage.
The vent plugs can be used in breathable cap products for chemicals packaging containers, and be suitable for High- concentration Hazardous Chemicals, Low-concentration Household Chemicals, Agricultural Chemicals and other Special Chemicals.
Shelf Life
Shelf life is two years from the date of receipt for this product as long as this product is stored in its original packaging in an environment below 80 ° F (27 ° C) and 60% RH.

What's the working principle of waterproof ventilation valve?
The XINXIA waterproof permeator valve is carefully made of imported expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (E-PTFE) microporous film. The micropore diameter of the imported E-PTFE film is between 0.1-10μm, while the molecule of the gas is only about 0.0004μm. The aperture of the EPTFE film is 250-25000 times larger than the diameter of the gas. So the gas can go through smoothly; The diameter of the drizzle is 400μm, which is 40-4000 times larger than the micropore diameter of the film. In addition, due to the low surface energy of the EPTFE film material, the contact Angle is 135.6°. Due to the surface tension (water molecules pulling on each other), the water vapor condenses into small water droplets on the surface of the EPTFE film. It can effectively prevent liquid water wetting and capillary penetration, so it has good waterproof and breathable performance.
