application
This series of membranes could be used in Automotive Lamps, Automotive Sensitive Electronics, Outdoor Lighting, Outdoor Electronic Devices, Household Electrical and Electronics etc.
The membrane can balance inside/outside pressure differentials of sealed enclosures while blocking contaminants, which could increase components’ reliability and extend their service life.

What are the applications of waterproof breathable film?
Potential problems with sensor equipment: the sensor housing is exposed to changing temperature and pressure environments. Temperature changes, dust, dirt, and moisture can have a significant impact on the sensor's electronics. For example, the cleaning process can cause the temperature of the electronic device housing to drop significantly. A sharp drop in temperature can result in a vacuum of 200 mbar (3 psi) or more inside the housing. Solution: Maintain the balance of pressure inside and outside the shell through constant ventilation. Waterproof and breathable products can effectively resist the adverse effects of pressure differences caused by temperature changes. The use of waterproof breathable membrane can quickly balance the pressure inside and outside the housing when the ambient temperature and pressure changes. In gas sensors and electrochemical sensors, waterproof and breathable products prevent dust, dirt or liquid from invading the sensing head. At the same time, the waterproof Breathable film (EPTFE) film allows gas to pass through the film immediately, ensuring a constant sensor response speed and preventing errors and delays in measurement results.
