When the water vapor condenses into water beads, the particles become larger, due to the effect of the surface tension of the water beads (water molecules "pull against each other"), the water molecules can not be smoothly separated from the water beads to penetrate into the other side of the waterproof breathable film, that is, to prevent the penetration of water, with the waterproof function. The waterproof breathable film itself is a material with hundreds of millions of nanoscale micropores, so it has good breathability while waterproof.
